WHERE DO I PARK?
Park and ride the free shuttle to the festival. Shuttle stops at Fair Oaks Shopping Center and on Fair Lakes Circle. Follow signs to the bus stops!

DO I HAVE TO PRINT MY TICKET OUT?
It’s up to you! You can print your ticket out or you can show your ticket on your phone and we will scan the barcode.
ARE CARNIVAL RIDES INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF ADMISSION?
No, carnival ride tickets must be purchased separately. Carnival rides are NOT included in the price of admission. Carnival all-day ride handstamps are sold for $25 each on Saturday, June 8th until 5 pm, and on Sunday, June 9th, until 4:30 pm, and they are valid for unlimited rides in both the KidWay MidWay and main Carnival Area. Sorry, no handstamps will be sold on-site Friday, June 7th. Individual carnival tickets are $1.25 each, and each ride requires between 2 and 6 tickets.
WHAT ARE THE HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS FOR RIDES?
Height restrictions differ from ride to ride based on the standard safety regulations for each ride. There are kiddie rides in the KidWay MidWay area and thriller rides in the main Carnival area. Please note that not every ride listed will be at the Celebrate Fairfax! Festival.
Each ride requires tickets – tickets cost $1.25 each and rides can require, on average, 2-6 tickets per ride. Or you may purchase a carnival handstamp on-site Saturday or Sunday for $25. Anyone that wants to ride a ride must have either tickets or a handstamp. Handstamps are valid for rides in both the KidWay MidWay and main Carnival area. Parking At the Festival:
Permit Parking Only – Parking levels under the Government Center are by permit only. Permits are valid only for the duration of the Festival.
Free Parking & Shuttle Bus Stops:
Celebrate Fairfax! makes it easy to access the festival via our FREE Shuttle Bus service. The Celebrate Fairfax! shuttle bus service will take you round trip from nearby remote parking facilities to the front door of the festival at NO CHARGE. The FREE shuttle runs every 5-10 minutes. Follow signs to the bus stops!

- 11750 Fair Oaks – 2 stops: near ManTech and near Fairfax Marriott (on the outer ring road of the mall).
- 12450 Fair Lakes Circle (across from Kohls, Dicks Sporting Goods)
- Shuttle Bus Schedule: Friday, 4:30pm-12:30am; Saturday, 8:30am-12:30am; Sunday, 8:30am-7:30pm.
- Regular Weekday Service from Vienna Metro Station to areas near the Government Center (Fairfax Connector Route 621) – regular fares apply
- Regular Weekday Service from Dunn Loring to areas near the Government Center (Metrobus Route 1C) – regular fares apply
- Reston residents can take the Fairfax Connector Route 605 to areas near the Government Center – regular fares apply
- Patrons can ride the complimentary Celebrate Fairfax shuttle, provided by Fairfax Connector, from the Vienna Metro to the festival on Saturday and Sunday. Shuttles run every 30 minutes.
Celebrate Fairfax is accessible via transit. Patrons should use WMATA’s Trip Planner for assistance.
Fairfax Connector offers regular service to/from the Vienna Metro and the Government Center on Fridays. Please note, the last bus to the Vienna Metro (Route 621) departs Post Forest Drive (across from the Red Gate) at 10:26 pm on Friday. Regular fares apply.
Metrobus will have regular weekday service on the 1C from Dunn Loring to the Government Center. The last bus to Dunn Loring departs at 11:25 pm on Friday. Regular fares apply.
Reston residents can catch the Fairfax Connector Route 605, which stops near the Green and Red Gates – however, riders should note that the last trip on Friday departs for Reston at 9:52 pm; on Saturday, the last trip is at 8:57 pm. Regular fares apply.
On Saturday and Sunday, patrons can take the complimentary shuttle bus, provided by Fairfax Connector, from the Vienna Metro to the festival. Shuttles run every 30 minutes.
WHERE CAN I FIND A MAP OF THE FESTIVAL SITE?
IS DISABILITY PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE FESTIVAL?
Yes, Celebrate Fairfax! is accessible for persons with disabilities. On-site parking at the Fairfax County Government Center is available for persons with valid DMV-issued disability parking permits. Regular-sized vehicles with valid disability parking hang-tag or license plate must enter through the Green Gate and will be directed to garage parking. Oversized vehicles with a valid disability parking hang-tag or license plate must enter through the Green Gate and will be directed to surface parking in the Friends of the Festival Lot. A golf cart is available to transport visitors with disabilities to Festival program areas. Ask the Green Gate Chairman for assistance upon arrival.
IS ABSENTEE VOTING STILL AVAILABLE AT THE GOVERNMENT CENTER?
Yes, there will be voting available during the Festival, both at the Government Center, and at other remote locations. We highly recommend anyone who would like to vote on Saturday, June 8th does so at the various remote locations available throughout the county. If you decide to vote at the Government Center, enter through the Green Gate and let the attendants know you are there to vote. They will direct you around site, to our designated voting parking area. There will be volunteers in the lot monitoring the spaces.

Please note, if you are planning on attending the Festival, you cannot keep your car in these spaces. You must exit the event, park in one of our Festival Parking Lots, and purchase a ticket.
CAN I RENT A BABY STROLLER OR WHEELCHAIR AT CELEBRATE FAIRFAX!?
A limited number of wheelchairs are available for FREE on a first-come, first-served basis in the festival office – Room 6&7 in the Conference Center. In order to reserve a wheelchair, a government-issued photo identification card must be left with festival office staff and will be given back once the wheelchair has been returned. We do not offer baby stroller rentals. For on-site assistance, visit any of our information booths or speak to a gate supervisor.
WHAT IS PROHIBITED AT THE FESTIVAL?
To ensure a safe and enjoyable festival experience for everyone, the following are not permitted at the festival:
* Coolers, pitchers or glass containers
* Removing alcoholic beverages from the site
* Laser pointers
* Lawn or beach chairs
* Pets, except for service animals for patrons with disabilities
* Boom boxes and audio recording devices
* Scooters, roller skates, skateboards, bicycles, hoverboards, or in-line skates
* Professional still or video cameras
* Climbing on any scaffolding towers or stages
* Smoking at any tented areas or indoor venues
* Defacing property within the festival site (this may result in prosecution)
* Bringing in outside alcoholic beverages
Bags, backpacks and other hand-carried items are subject to inspection. Blankets are welcome. Umbrellas may be brought in, but you may be asked to lower them in concert areas to allow all guests access to stage viewing. Please note that shirts and shoes must be worn while on the festival grounds!
WHAT TIME ARE THE FIREWORKS?
The Leidos Fireworks are at 9:30pm on both Friday and Saturday night.
